Caravan Salon Dusseldorf 2015
19.06.2015
The entire caravanning sector will be meeting in Düsseldorf from 29 August to 6 September 2015 (trade visitors’ day on 28 August). As the world’s largest trade fair for motor homes and caravans the "Caravan Salon Düsseldorf 2015" offers a unique insight into the world of mobile leisure. 590 international exhibitors with 130 caravan and motor home brands will be presented on some 195,000 square metres in eleven halls and the outdoor space of the exhibition centre – this line-up is unique and a further increase on last year.
The CARAVAN SALON is traditionally the platform for innovations and premieres in Europe – this is where top manufacturers in the sector showcase their innovations and a huge variety of brands. The line-up of vehicles presented in Dusseldorf ranges from folding caravans and family vehicles through to luxury motor homes. There are small, simply fitted caravans available even for budgets of Euro 5,000 while at the other end of the scale with custom luxury motor homes the sky is virtually the limit. The fair showcases everything the market has to offer. Tried and tested interior layouts and vehicle classics alongside the new models for the 2016 season. Proving particularly popular, as always, are semi-integrated motor homes and box vans, i.e. compact vehicles weighing under 3.5 tons. Lightweight construction, environmental technology, security systems, reduced energy consumption and future-oriented developments are particular focuses of the manufacturers.
However, it is not just the vehicle line-up but also the range of accessories that is unrivalled here. Whether it is under the engine hood, in the living space or related to the vehicle in general – new technical developments and detachable parts are very popular with visitors. In Hall 13 alone 150 international exhibitors will be presenting a unique line-up in the field of equipment, technology and installations.
Anyone wishing to find out more about driving with a motor home or caravan trailer and about the technical functionalities this entails has come to exactly the right places at this year’s CARAVAN SALON. Sector professionals in Hall 12 offer a neutral and unbiased (i.e. non-manufacturer affiliated) contact point on the caravanning theme. In various themed worlds novices as well experienced caravan users can discover interesting and useful information on mobile leisure. Amongst other things, the right handling of on-board technology is demonstrated, experts give practical tips and recommendations on vehicle types, travel routes or the right choice of camping site and are also on hand to answer specific questions and give individual advice. An info stage with lectures on individual focal themes rounds off the special show.
There are not just vehicles on show at CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF as trade visitors also enjoy a varied programme of entertainment and information revolving around mobile vacationing. At the Dream Trip Cinema Konstantin Abert, Jeanette Emerich and Uwe Hamm will be whisking visitors away each day to unique destinations and arousing their wanderlust. Young people can let their hair down at the Adventure Camp organised by Düsseldorf’s umbrella sports federation Stadtsportbund Düsseldorf and children aged 4 year and upwards are looked after at the stand of the Workers’ Welfare Association Arbeiterwohlfahrt with a varied programme of recreation, arts and crafts and entertainment.
